Paul Haupt, B.Bus, CA

Paul was admitted to partnership on 1st July, 1996 and was appointed the firm's managing director in September 2006. Since 1979, Paul has worked in taxation and small business consultancy. Areas of particular interest include business valuations (Paul is currently on the pharmacy valuation panel for the National Australia Bank, the ANZ Bank, the Bank of Queensland and BankWest); business structures that provide flexibility as well as asset protection; accessing the small business capital gains tax exemptions; superannuation including establishment of self-managed superannuation funds, retirement strategies incorporating undeducted contributions, allocated and market linked pensions (Paul is responsibility for the firm’s superannuation division).

 

 

Paul Fiumara, B.Bus, CA, ACIS, ACIM

Paul was made a partner in 1991, having been with the firm since 1982. Paul's areas of expertise include taxation consulting, international tax and information technology. Paul has been actively involved in assisting clients not only with their statutory responsibilities but also has had extensive experience in helping them with business sales, mergers and acquisitions.

Paul advises a number of sizable clients with interests in Australia and overseas. Some of the industries that Paul has particular expertise in include pharmacy, aged care, retail and wholesale operations and the IT sector.

 

 

 

Robert Schoenmaker, B.Bus, CA

Rob joined the practice on 1st July, 1999 after a merger with his previous firm. He is a Registered Company Auditor and leads the Corporate Services Division of the firm with over 25 years experience in audit and corporate services.

Rob has vast client experience across a broad base ranging from large multinational companies to small family businesses.

His expertise in the Corporate area include Taxation and Financial Structuring, Management advising / reporting and special Investigations.

 

Gavin Johns, B.Com, CA

Gavin was admitted to partnership on 1st July, 2005.  He joined the firm in August, 2000 and has been a director since 1st July, 2001. Gavin has experience in providing taxation, management and accounting advice to small businesses with clients in various industries including pharmacy, manufacturing and primary production.  He also provides advice to clients with respect to their accounting software requirements and assists clients with setup and training in their preferred software.

Gavin is a member of the MYOB Certified Consultants Panel and also has extensive experience in retail operations following management training with retail chain Coles Myer.
